Patrick Ness is a multi-award-winning author and screenwriter.

A Monster Calls was the first book ever to win both the CILIP Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Medals. Since then, it has enjoyed a successful film adaptation and an Olivier-winning theatre production at The Old Vic, with more dates across the UK and USA in 2020.
Patrick also won a CILIP Carnegie Medal for the third instalment of the Chaos Walking Trilogy. The film adaptation is currently in post-production with Lionsgate, starring Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley.
His books have been published in over forty-three languages.
